CYCLE RACE

 The Tour of Britain Cycle Race hurtled through the village today, Saturday 5^th September.  The route, from Helmsley, in the North York Moors National Park to Leyburn, up in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, was Stage 4 of the Race and reckoned to be the hardest.  You can find more Race information at British Cycling's website, but see here the riders as they whizz past our Tea Rooms!
