Braecote is a deceptively spacious holiday cottage in the heart of Coxwold and a peaceful country bolthole for two.  It’s ideally placed for weddings at Coxwold Church and Newburgh Priory, for fine dining at the Michelin-starred Black Swan at Oldstead, and a great base from which to explore the historic city of York.  Walkers are well placed for the North York Moors and Yorkshire Dales National Parks, and the beaches and cliffs of the east coast, including the RSPB Reserve at Bempton Cliffs.  History lovers can stroll to Newburgh Priory and Byland Abbey.

The cottage is surprisingly spacious: curl up in front of the wood-burner in the sitting room; prepare a romantic supper in the well-equipped kitchen.  Sleep in a king-size bed in a calm room overlooking the Hambleton Hills.  On sunny days, enjoy breakfast in the pretty south-facing garden.
