Thrillers in Coxwold

There are lots of talented people in Coxwold:

some of them keep their talens to themselves, but many share their skills and expertise with the Village and with the wider community.

One of those is Neil Baker who, as writing as Robert N. Crathorne, has published two novels and two others are 'in the pipeline'.  Set initially in the gloomy, menacing port of Ostend in 1938, the 'Visserskaai' (Fisherman's Quay) provides a backdrop to personal and professional struggles of a policement set on catching a murderer while holding together his repution and his job and uncovering police corruption.  Added to this, the tensions in Belgium as the Second World War inevitably approaches lift the stories from local to international vistas and escape and pursuit of the villains becomes intertwined with enemy occupation and treachery.
