Homewares, Gifts and Tea Room in Coxwold, North Yorkshire

Under new management since June 2019, much has been going on at the tearooms in Coxwold, now called Rumah Home.  We have an amazing homewares and gift shop selling a vast array of jewellery, greetings cards, soft furnishings, room diffusers, decorative objects and vintage pieces.  The Tea Room now offers a simpler menu of teas, coffees, homemade cakes and freshly baked scones to enjoy whilst browsing our expanded range of homewares and gifts in the shop.  The bed and breakfast rooms have been revamped decoratively and we now have the addition of a beautiful 4-Star holiday cottage. 

The B&B rooms at Rumah Home provide the perfect night stay for a peaceful countryside getaway.  Formerly the village headmaster’s house, Rumah Home is a low-ceilinged, charming property with nooks and crannies, flagged floors and serious fireplaces.  We have three letting bedrooms, two doubles and one twin.  At Rumah Home you sleep on Egyptian cotton bedding and enjoy complimentary toiletries, whilst surrounded by a quintessentially English garden freely available to guests.

As the Covid-19 restrictions are eased, we are now offering teas, coffees and home-made cakes, either to take away or to enjoy in our delightful garden.  The Shop, offering all our usual luxury fantastic goods for the home, is also open and we have all the necessary safeguarding measures in place.
