Coxwold's Annual pre-Christmas Brunch!
Over 70 people turned up from the Coxwold and the surrounding villages for the Annual Christmas Brunch at the Village Hall.
A superb menu was created by Paul Turner, Sandra Kirham and Anne LeGassicke, including the now-renowned Paul’s Eggs Benedict, with ham, spinach or smoked salmon, followed by desserts of Stollen Mince Pies, Aperol Spritz Upside-down Cake, and Moonshine Christmas Pudding Ice cream with PX sherry-soaked Raisins.
The chefs had lots of help from Sam, Emily, Jessica, and Ella and Jake King who provided stalwart service doing the washing-up as part of their DofE award. Well done everybody!
There was something for everyone....
The kitchen had been busy since 5:30am and was still going strong at mid-day
And the tombola, well organised by Jill Willetts, made welcome funds for the Village Hall and Coxwold Playing Fields Association.
